Built for Speed on Hard & Rocky Trails

INOV8 TrailFly Speed V2 Women’s trail running shoes are designed for runners who want to move quickly across firm, technical terrain. Ideal for shorter races and faster training sessions, this updated V2 model improves grip, cushioning and upper comfort.

With a weight 299g construction and a responsive feel underfoot, the TrailFly Speed V2 helps you stay agile and efficient on hard-packed trails and rocky paths.

Upgraded Graphene Grip

The outsole features graphene-infused rubber for enhanced durability and traction. The 4mm lugs provide secure grip on:

  • Hard-packed trails
  • Rocky terrain
  • Dry forest paths
  • Mixed firm ground

This makes the shoe ideal for faster efforts where ground feel and responsiveness matter.

Improved Upper & Fit Options

The breathable engineered upper offers a secure yet comfortable hold, helping stabilise the foot when moving at speed. Further improvements have been made to the shoe’s upper, with more rugged KPU overlays making it more resistant to tears from rocks and vegetation.

Available in:

  • Standard Fit
  • Wide Fit

Sizes 3 – 8.5 UK

This ensures a more personalised fit depending on foot shape and preference.

Responsive Cushioning & Comfort

A balanced 4mm drop promotes a natural running feel, while the updated midsole delivers a responsive ride suited to shorter races and tempo training. An improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole offers bounce and more stability, increasing the durability of the foam as you push hard over inviting, flowing trails.

The BOOMERANG footbed adds extra energy return and comfort without increasing weight.

INOV8 is a British running brand founded in 2003 in the Lake District. It started with fell running, where grip on wet grass, mud and rock matters more than anything else, and that focus still shapes the range today.

At Compass Point we stock INOV8 across shoes, clothing and running packs. The Mudtalon range (V2, Wide and Precision) is built for soft, muddy ground and is a popular choice for orienteering in forest terrain, which is why it sits in our orienteering shoes as well as trail shoes. For firmer trails and mixed ground there are the Trailtalon and TrailFly lines, from the light TrailFly Speed and zero-drop TrailFly Zero to the cushioned TrailFly Max. The RoadFly Zero covers road running.

The range continues with the Stormshell V2 waterproof running jacket, Racepac hydration vests, soft flasks, race belts, All Terrain gaiters, gloves, headbands and running socks.

Where to start: browse trail running shoes for the full shoe line-up, hydration vests for longer races and mountain marathons, and waterproof jackets for kit-list events. Not sure which shoe suits your terrain? Our guide to choosing orienteering shoes for UK terrain compares grip and fit.

INOV8 shoes come in men's and women's versions, and most models are held in stock in a run of UK sizes with delivery across the UK.
