SILVA Spike Jet compass is the most compact model in the Spike Jet series with a smaller baseplate, smaller capsule and less details. Everything to keep the compass as clean and lightweight as possible.
The rotatable housing has extended orienteering lines, a grip friendly surface and provides easy navigation with the Silva 1-2-3 System. The baseplate has a measuring scale at the tip that helps you measure the exact distance between two places on the map. This way you can more easily plan your race.
As with all the other Arc Jet and Spike Jet compasses, this model features the all new Jet 2.0 Needle with unmatched stability and world-class performance in needle settling time.

Silva Spike Jet Baseplate Compass Manual
Silva is a Swedish brand that invented the world's first liquid-filled compass in 1933. That innovation set the global standard for navigation equipment. The brand introduced its first headlamp two years later and has developed both product lines ever since.
Silva compasses use a global needle, so orienteers can navigate accurately anywhere in the world. World champion orienteer Tove Alexandersson helped develop the Arc Jet and Spike Jet ranges. Silva headlamps use Intelligent Light technology, which adjusts brightness the way human eyes do.
At Compass Point, we rely on Silva for compasses and headlamps. Both categories sit at the heart of our business, backed by decades of Swedish engineering.
