Silva is a Swedish brand that invented the world's first liquid-filled compass in 1933. That innovation set the global standard for navigation equipment. The brand introduced its first headlamp two years later and has developed both product lines ever since.

Silva compasses use a global needle, so orienteers can navigate accurately anywhere in the world. World champion orienteer Tove Alexandersson helped develop the Arc Jet and Spike Jet ranges. Silva headlamps use Intelligent Light technology, which adjusts brightness the way human eyes do.
