The most cushioned shoe in our MUDTALON™ Series, the V2 is perfect for longer training runs and races over soft, muddy and challenging terrain.
Featuring aggressive 8mm rubber lugs on the outsole, the MUDTALON™ V2 allows you to power over even the toughest, muddy ground. With the V2 we’ve also taken the opportunity to make our STICKYGRIP™ rubber even better, with a 36% improvement on wet slip resistance compared to the V1 MUDTALON™.
A new and improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole, provides lightweight, responsive cushioning, while still allowing for that all-important ground feel. This foam has been reformulated to further increase its durability and performance over longer distances.
Inov8 MUDTALON™ V2 has a rugged, quick draining upper with a MET-CRADLE overlay, which locks your foot in at the heel and midfoot when you tighten your laces. Available in a Precision, closer fit, or a roomier Wide fit, the V2 widens at the toebox to allow your toes to mould and splay.
The perfect shoe for long miles on tough muddy ground, the MUDTALON™ V2 provides the optimum blend of grip, cushioning and ground feel.

Size Guide
For the best fit, measure your foot at home before ordering. It takes 2 minutes. On a hard floor, put a piece of paper against a wall. Stand on the paper in your socks. Wear the type of socks you’d normally wear with this type of shoe. Make sure your heel is against the wall and distribute weight evenly on your foot. Ask someone to mark at the end of your longest toe. Repeat for both feet. Measure the distance in mm. Pick your shoe size based on the length of your longer foot.▸ How to measure your foot length

Precision Fit — Narrower, snug fit that locks in at the heel and midfoot while widening at the toebox for natural toe splay. Best for narrow feet or runners who prefer a closer, more secure feel for maximum control and agility on technical terrain. Wide Fit — Roomier toebox with more space for wider feet or extra comfort on longer distances when toes can swell.
