What is a blister?

A blister on the foot is a small pocket of fluid that forms between the layers of skin. It is usually caused by friction or pressure from shoes when running or walking. It serves as a protective cushion for the underlying tissue, however, they are painful. Prevention is always the best cure for a blister!

How to apply Blister plasters

• Before applying Ultimate Performance blister plasters, ensure your foot is clean and dry.
• Warm the plaster in your hands for a few minutes beforehand; this helps it adhere better and last longer.

Avoiding blisters

Place the blister plaster on areas where you’re prone to blisters, such as the back of your heel, the inside of your foot, or between your toes. After applying the plaster, put on your sock to keep it securely in place. The plaster should stay on for 24 to 48 hours, providing protection from friction and preventing blisters.
