A lightweight classic for mountain running and endurance events
Originally developed in 1973 to a specification by Olympian and London Marathon founder Sir Chris Brasher, the OMM Classic 18 has become one of the best-known mountain running backpacks. Designed for mountain marathons, it is equally suited to trail running, hiking, fastpacking and multi-day endurance events.
With an 18-litre capacity, the Classic 18 balances lightweight performance with practical storage. The pack features a large main compartment with a hydration sleeve, stretch mesh pockets for quick-access equipment, zipped storage on both the lid and waist belt, and a removable waist belt that can be adapted to suit different activities.
An EVA padded shoulder harness, removable back pad and adjustable chest strap help provide comfort and stability over uneven terrain, while the integrated whistle adds an extra safety feature for mountain use.
