SPORTident – Electronic Timing for Orienteering and Events
SPORTident provides electronic timing systems for orienteering and outdoor events. The company first developed its system for orienteering. Today, clubs and event organisers also use it for running, mountain biking, adventure races and other events.
The system uses electronic timing stations and SI-Cards to record competitors’ control visits and times. Classic SI-Cards use direct punching. AIR+ technology also supports contactless punching with compatible SIAC cards. After the event, organisers download the recorded data to produce results and split times.
