The cordless Free 1200 XS is an optimal headlamp for trail running and cross-country skiing. The combination of 1200 lumen and the lightweight XS battery (14.4 Wh) in a cordless design provides the perfect balance between brightness for forest trails, a battery light enough to wear on your head, and burn time for tempo runs and everyday training. Switch to the super-low mode at 80 lumen when going uphill to extend the burn time.

Silva Free is the world’s first modular headlamp series, designed to give you more comfort, light, and more flexibility. Silva’s Free technology integrates all cables within the headband, meaning you won’t be bothered by distracting wires. The modular design with interchangeable lamp units, batteries, mounts, and headbands makes it easy to customise your Free for different activities.

The Airflow technology delivers optimised cooling for improved performance regardless of activity, even when airflow isn’t optimal. All Free headlamps feature Silva Intelligent Light – a double beam combining a long reach spot light and a close flood light. This results in fewer head movements and a better overview of the terrain, which results in improved balance and enhanced confidence, allowing you to maintain a higher speed.
