Designed to meet mandatory kit requirements, where races need you to carry waterproof trousers, the RACEPANT is a high performance waterproof suitable for trail, ultra, fell and mountain racing. Benefitting from 2.5 layer waterproof fabric and taped seams, the trousers have a high waterproof rating of 15,000 HH – enough to protect you during heavy downpours.
Everything in the RACEPANT has been considered through the lens of racing. The trousers boast a high breathability rating of 15,000 B-1, which means they allow heat to escape so you don’t overheat as you raise the pace.
When every gram counts, the 86g RACEPANT is a super lightweight piece of kit. It packs down small too, rolling up and being secured by a loop on the waistband. This makes it very easy to stash in a race vest or waist pack when not in use.
Product Care
Please consider the environment when deciding when to wash your clothing. Obviously if you’ve done a particularly long/intense activity in a garment and it smells, it’s probably time to put it in the wash. But you can often get several wears out of your kit without washing, by simply hanging it up and letting it air between uses.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Zip up any zips and fasten any Velcro before placing inside the washing machine.
- Wash on a 30°C cycle, or according to the garment’s care label.
- We recommend using a detergent suitable for performance clothing such as Grangers® Active Wash. This laundry detergent is specifically formulated to remove stubborn dirt and odours, and to maintain your clothing’s wicking properties.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Leave to dry naturally – do not tumble dry.
